Eid Day

last eid.. my wife said she wanted to generate photos using ghibli style like other people. I allowed it, well, she's just a curious person.

but then, maybe my wife saw other posts about the opposite of this trend, about data theft, disrespect to hayao miyazaki etc..

suddenly she said to me "I cancel to follow that trend. I have an illustrator husband, why do I follow that"

haha. then I said "okay, when we go back to jogja, I'll make it for you"

and yep. this is it. although a little late. I finally had time to make it after returning from homecoming. lol

I deliberately didn't make photos that were "translated" into ghibli style.
because if it's just like that, Ai can do it too.
so I made an illustration along with the concept and backstory.
borrowed the concept from the Ghibli film secret world of arrietty.
and some items that relate to us.

this also took some time to learn how gibli makes backgrounds, uses colors, draws characters, draws outfits, makes drapes, food, imaginary animals....

but yeah it's worth it. at least have a portfolio with this style lol
